Job Overview

Seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site and remote technical support for loitering munitions and related unmanned defense platforms. This role supports installation, configuration, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, customer training, field demonstrations, and service documentation. The position is based in Stafford, VA, with hybrid flexibility and significant travel to customer locations, ranges, and test sites.

Minimum Requirements

• Technical and mechanical aptitude with experience supporting complex electro-mechanical, aerospace, defense, or unmanned systems.
• Hands-on experience with installation, integration, troubleshooting, testing, and preventative maintenance of fielded equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, schematics, drawings, and operating procedures.
• Strong communication, customer-service, and interpersonal skills for supporting military and defense customers.
• Ability to produce clear service reports, documentation, findings, and recommendations.
• Comfort working in a hybrid field-support role split between the Stafford, VA facility, customer sites, ranges, and remote work as needed.
• Ability to travel approximately 75% and meet the physical demands of field work.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and meet applicable clearance, background, safety, and security requirements for defense-related work.

Preferred Requirements

• Prior field service, military, aerospace, defense-industry, or unmanned systems experience.
• Relevant technical degree, vocational training, military training, or equivalent practical experience in engineering, electronics, mechanics, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting demonstrations, field exercises, range events, or customer training.
• Familiarity with defense, aerospace, or military operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for loitering munitions, launch systems, and related platforms.
• Install, configure, inspect, troubleshoot, test, maintain, and repair fielded equipment.
• Support customer training, product demonstrations, field exercises, range events, and test-site activities.
• Coordinate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and communicate field feedback.
• Document service activities, corrective actions, findings, recommendations, and customer feedback in accordance with company and customer requirements.
• Ensure systems are deployed, maintained, and sustained in accordance with safety, regulatory, security, and operational standards.
• Travel to customer locations, ranges, and test sites as required to deliver field support and sustainment assistance.
• Note: This role supports U.S. and allied defense customers and requires compliance with all applicable security, safety, and background requirements.
