The Electrophysiology Tech plays a critical role in delivering patient care within the Electrophysiology Lab and related areas. This position offers the opportunity to support high-quality, safe, and effective patient care. Responsibilities include assisting in diagnostic, interventional, and acute procedures while maintaining asepsis. The role requires a proficient understanding of specialty EP equipment to ensure accurate and reliable procedures. Daily tasks involve effective use of physiologic monitoring, EP-specific systems, and imaging to assess patient conditions. The Electrophysiology Tech supports data management and resource availability for seamless procedural workflows. The position also includes providing care in a circulating role during both elective and emergency procedures. Collaboration with the healthcare team, physicians, and families is essential to ensure patient-centered care. Cross-training in multiple departments may be required to enhance operational efficiency. Cultural competence and effective communication are necessary for fostering a supportive healthcare environment. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
