Position Phlebotomy Full Time Location: 44725 North 10th Street Suite 240, Lancaster, CA 93534. Work Schedule Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, with rotating weekends. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT). Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of experience as phlebotomist. Current or prior experience at LabCorp. Additional Job Standards In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement. 1 year or more phlebotomist experience with geriatrics and pediatric patients. Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $23.00 – $33.00 per hour. Quarterly incentive bonus program eligibility may apply for PSTs based on performance metrics. Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week receive comprehensive benefits including: medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO or FTO, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan.
