Job TitleJob Functions:Live and embraces American Social Vision and Core ValuesReports to work on time and prepared for the shiftFollows all Image and Appearance standardsHas a positive attitude and provides the best service possibleEnsures bar is stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, bar tools, cleaning items, etc.Prepares bar prep items using recipe, proper portioning, and storage to fulfill guests' ordersUses FIFO procedures to ensure freshness of product and eliminate wasteHigh production standards including, consistency, firmness, and temperature of foodMaintains supplies, fresh ice, garnish containers, juices, liquor, beer and wine stockChanges beer kegs, soft drink containers, and CO2 tanks to ensure fresh productPerforms bar set up and closing dutiesCleans and prepares bar and tables for new guestsSupports restaurant maintenance by stocking supplies and keeping it clean and organizedHas basic food and beverage knowledge and is able to confidently answer guests questionsDelivers beverages and food and maintains engagement to ensure a positive experienceComplies with all state and federal liquor laws by requesting that guests present a valid IDAdheres to alcohol awareness procedures for preventing guest intoxicationEnsures all bar equipment is in proper working order, communicating problems when necessaryCleans, sanitizes and, polishes glassware ensuring cleanliness and presentation standardsCommunicates with team using radiosPractices teamwork during all shifts and supports both FOH and BOH prioritiesWorks cohesively with all Team MembersFlexible to assist in other departments as requestedWorks well under pressureFollows the direction of the Managers on dutySupports and follows all Marketing initiativesUnderstand and adhere to all safety, sanitation, and administrative proceduresQualifications:Must meet local, legal minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beveragesAbility to work Late Night shifts, potentially to between 12 AM – 4AMWorks assigned scheduled shiftsAlcohol Awareness Certification requiredFood handling certificate a plusFluent in English; able to speak, read, writeAbility to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracyAble to bend at the waist and lift items up to 50 lbs. to waist levelAble to move items up to 50 lbs. for distances of up to 25 feetAble to remain standing and active for an 8-12 hour shift.Able to tolerate exposure to cold temperatures (below 0° F) throughout the shift.Able to hear, understand, and respond to requests in a loud environmentSkill and coordination at using hands to pour drinks, carry glasses, cut garnishes, etc.
