ProFast is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team in Harrisburg. This role will handle the day-to-day accounts payable and receivable work that keeps our business moving, but we're looking for someone who wants to do more than process transactions.

You'll work with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and learn different areas of the accounting function. For someone who's curious, detail-oriented, and interested in building an accounting career, there's room to grow with us.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

• Process purchase order receipts and vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Match invoices to packing slips and purchase orders and identify discrepancies
• Work with vendors to resolve invoice issues and obtain missing documentation
• Review accounts payable activity for accuracy and process vendor payments
• Record accounting entries and apply customer payments
• Process monthly corporate credit card expense reports and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records within our ERP system
• Support Finance team projects, process improvements, and other accounting activities as needed

Our ideal candidate has:

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• 1+ years of AP, AR, bookkeeping, or general accounting experience
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems; NetSuite experience is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
