Speech Language Pathologist - Home Health

Location: Pittsfield, MA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; 8-hour days with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Job Description: The Speech Language Pathologist will provide speech therapy services to clients within the home health setting. The primary responsibilities include direct patient care, collaboration with other healthcare team members, and participation in developing comprehensive care plans for patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech therapy services to patients in their home.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of rehabilitation equipment and communication aids.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of home care experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology.
• Active Massachusetts Speech and Language Pathologist License.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
