Registered Nurse - Mother Baby / Postpartum

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Mother Baby / Postpartum unit to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume facility. The nurse will provide compassionate support to new mothers and their infants, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver comprehensive postpartum care to mothers and newborns, including assessments and monitoring.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Educate new mothers on postpartum recovery, infant care, and breastfeeding practices.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and perform clinical procedures following protocols and safety standards.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to patient needs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Mother Baby or Postpartum unit.
  
  
• 
  Active AHA BLS and NRP certifications.
  
  
• 
  Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Experience working in a high-volume labor and delivery setting preferred.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical skills in postpartum and neonatal care.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work flexible hours, including major and minor holidays.
