We require pre-employment drug screen and background check. In accordance to Coast Guard guidelines, random drug screens are performed throughout the year.

The dishwasher position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards while ensuring the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
• Sort and stack clean dishes
• All clean dishes are properly organized and placed in the correct location
• Wash pans and trays by hand
• Ability to set up and break down dishwashing area
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
• Sweep/mop floors
• Assemble/disassemble dish machine
• Wipe up any spills and ensure kitchen floors remain dry
• Notify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures
• Other duties as directed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Customer/client focus
• Must work well in team atmosphere
• Reliable with strong time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Reliable transportation to/from work
• Must meet US Coast Guard physical examination requirements
• Must submit to pre-employment drug testing and will then be subject to random screenings as per the US Coast Guard
