Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 6:45 AM - 4:15 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience License: Must be willing to apply for and register as a Fluoroscopy Operator Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R), RCIS or RCES Must-Have: - Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience - BLS and ACLS certifications - ARRT (R), RCIS, or RCES certification Description: This is a travel position for a Cath Lab Tech. The role is in a highly functional team setting. The Cath Lab has three holding bays and two procedural suites. Staffing consists of nine qualified professionals. The patient-to-staff ratio is three patients per staff member. Procedures include left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention. Additional procedures include pacemaker insertions, ICDs, cardioversions, TEE, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests. Candidates must demonstrate a positive and flexible attitude. A strong commitment to high-quality patient care is essential. On-call responsibilities are required, and call is divided evenly among team members. Candidates should be located within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab. The schedule will typically include eight to twelve on-call days within a four-week block. There may be a need for weekend shifts, but efforts are made to limit them. The unit offers engagement with physicians and a supportive organizational culture. The location features beautiful mountainous landscapes and recreational opportunities such as skiing.
