Maintenance Technician

Phoenix Manufacturing is looking for a Maintenance Technician at our Glasgow, Missouri manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for hands-on maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and facility systems within a manufacturing environment. The technician will troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, perform scheduled preventative maintenance, and support safe plant operations.RESPONSIBILITIESPerform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems within the manufacturing facilityPerform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, welders, overhead cranes, and forkliftsInspect equipment for proper operation and identify potential failure risksReplace worn or defective parts such as bearings, belts, motors, sensors, hoses, and fittingsMaintain and repair facility systems including lighting, compressed air systems, and building infrastructureSupport installation and setup of new equipment as neededREQUIREMENTS5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferredAbility to read mechanical drawings and equipment manualsAcute attention to detail and ability to exercise good judgement.Operate material handling equipment.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Prioritize and plan work activities efficiently to meet deadlines; work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Ability to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events.Ability to work in a team environment with multiple departments and diverse personalities.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment (heat, noise, dust)Strong attention to detail and safety awarenessProper PPE is required at all timesPhoenix Manufacturing offers employees and their families a comprehensive benefit package to ensure their personal and family’s overall health and wellness needs are met.
