Radiologist Position

Seeking an on-site board certified/board eligible general radiologist to join growing practice. Over 90,000 radiology examinations per year. Technology: On-site 1.5 MRI and off-site 1.5 MRI, 2 multidetector CTs, 6 ultrasound machines, PET scanner, stereotactic breast biopsy, MRI guided breast biopsy, nuclear medicine studies. Guarantee salary of 450K! Sign-on bonus, 10 week vacation/CME with annual CME allowance of $800. Work 7:30AM to 4PM or 8:30AM to 5PM daily, 8 weekend call Sat/Sun 7:30AM-5PM. 5PM-7:30AM coverage by teleradiology with final reads Monday through Sunday. Partnership track of 1 year, with no buy-in. Health insurance including dental and HSA, malpractice insurance paid by the group, profit sharing pension plan beginning at 2 months, educational loan reimbursement, relocation allowance, H Visa OK.

Community/Facility info: Centrally located in southwestern Pennsylvania. The County's population is about 89,000 and stable, with a concentration of about 23,000. Largest of the state-owned colleges at about 14,500 undergraduates, is the largest employer in the county. Hospital is second largest employer with about 1400 currently on the payroll. The community is well-known for its quality school system that is highly ranked in the state and has been nationally recognized. There are a great many activities available for children and adults alike. Outdoor sports include fishing, hunting, golfing, tennis, swimming, boating, hiking, and camping with many different kinds of opportunities. The university brings a large variety of cultural events to the community, and these will soon increase with the completion of a new arena within sight of the hospital.
