Receiver Day Shift
Shift: Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun | 02:00 AM 10:30 AM Position Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
A Receiver plays a key role in warehouse and supply chain operations by managing incoming deliveries and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments from carriers and suppliers
- Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or discrepancies
- Verify purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices
- Unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment
- Label, sort, and stage materials for storage or production
- Enter receiving data into ERP or inventory systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, AS400)
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies
- Communicate with purchasing, shipping, and production teams
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environments
- Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to be certified
- Basic computer skills (data entry, inventory systems)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift 2550+ lbs as needed
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving processes and documentation
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
- ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, AS400, etc.)
- Forklift certification (sit-down, stand-up, pallet jack)
- Previous receiving or inventory control experience
