Job Title

RN – CVOR Scrub and Circulate

Key Responsibilities

• Primarily scrub and also circulate in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases
• Support procedures including Coronary Artery Bypass (primary and redo), aortic aneurysms, AVR and MVR (primary and redo), TAVR, ECMO, and VAD cases
• Apply critical thinking and multitasking skills in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Participate in ongoing research protocols within the department
• Take call as required by department need
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and function as an active team player within the department

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with 3–5 years of recent experience scrubbing and circulating in CVOR
• Demonstrated experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
• Must be able to both scrub and circulate
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Ability to multitask and apply strong critical thinking skills
• Availability for call shifts and overtime as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Pediatric cardiac surgical experience is a plus
