Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique situations. \n
- Provide ongoing counseling and support through various modalities, including therapy sessions, group support, and crisis intervention for clients presenting with issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse. \n
- Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to better align with their evolving needs and goals. \n
- Offer immediate crisis intervention services, including suicide prevention strategies, risk assessments, and developing safety plans to ensure client well-being during critical moments. \n
- Engage in collaborative care with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, medical doctors, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive support for each client. \n
- Maintain accurate, confidential client records, adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational standards to ensure the highest levels of integrity and trust. \n
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training initiatives to remain current with industry best practices and continuously enhance your therapeutic skills. \n
Your work will primarily involve supporting clients undergoing detoxification and rehabilitation for addiction, as well as addressing associated mental health issues. The client population will include diverse individuals who come from various backgrounds, each with their unique challenges and needs. You will be instrumental in guiding clients on their journey toward recovery by establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship built on respect, empathy, and understanding.

- A Master's degree in Social Work or a closely related field is required to ensure a solid grounding in mental health practices. \n
- An active Pennsylvania license (LCSW) to practice mental health counseling independently is essential for this role. \n
- At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly working with diverse populations and individuals facing mental health challenges, is necessary to effectively address client needs. \n
