As we continue to grow, we are seeking an associate attorney to join our team and contribute to the work that has defined us. POSITION OVERVIEW As an associate at our firm, you will handle complex, sometimes high-profile matters alongside a close-knit team of seasoned trial lawyers. From shareholder disputes and fraud cases to civil rights litigation and government investigations, associates gain meaningful, hands-on experience across a diverse and challenging caseload. This position offers the rare combination of sophisticated legal work typically found at large firms with the mentorship, autonomy, and quality of life that only a boutique environment can provide. RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to shape case strategy across complex civil and white-collar matters. Draft and refine pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda in both federal and state courts. Appear at court proceedings, depositions, and client meetings with real opportunities to take the lead Partner with senior attorneys to develop and execute case strategy from inception through trial or resolution. Manage discovery, including document review, analysis, and production in large-scale litigation. Cultivate strong client relationships through responsive communication and reliable counsel. Take increasing ownership over cases and projects as you grow with the firm. QUALIFICATIONS Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active membership in the California State Bar (or eligibility for immediate admission). 2+ years of litigation experience in civil or criminal matters; white-collar, commercial, or complex litigation experience is a plus. Sharp legal writing and research skills. Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities. The ability to work both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team. Sound judgment, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple matters under deadline. A commitment to the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality.
