About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Providence, Rhode Island, 02903!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required. License: RN License required. Certifications: Relevant certifications required. Must-Have: Experience with tracheostomies, endotracheal tubes, and drips. Description: Respiratory Intermediate Care Unit. This is a step-down level in the critical care division. The unit manages fresh tracheostomies, levophed, stable intubations, mild sedation, and DKA. Staffing is assessed every 4 hours. Travelers may be floated to different units as needed. Travelers are assigned to a home unit, but may float up to 3 times per shift. This is a union facility, and per the union contract, travelers float first. Every other weekend and holidays are required based on unit needs.
