Project Finance and Tax Equity Associate or Senior Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a project finance and tax equity associate or senior associate in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in transactional work related to debt project finance or tax equity financings, particularly within renewable or clean energy sectors. Duties Engage in debt project finance, including drafting credit agreements and collateral documents. Participate in tax equity financings and tax credit sales. Conduct due diligence on offtake, EPC, supply, and O&M contracts. Collaborate across offices with partner mentorship. Develop client relationships and business opportunities. Requirements 4+ years of relevant experience. Transactional experience in debt project finance or tax equity financings. Exposure to tax credit transferability and infrastructure is a plus. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Certifications Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Strong analytical and drafting skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
