Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM Wed 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM Thur 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM Fri 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM Sat 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM Sun 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities across an educational location. Respond to incidents, policy violations, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors and campus contacts. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout academic buildings, parking areas, residence hall exteriors, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor access points and campus grounds, verify authorized entry where required, and document observations, incidents, and/or unusual conditions according to post orders. Support a respectful learning environment by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with routine security‑related concerns while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
