Requirements:

• Prior manufacturing experience working in a production environment is preferred but not required. Candidates who have previous experience with operating fillers and or packaging equipment is ideal.
• Environment may be hot or cold depending on the time of the year and location of equipment in the plant.
• Accurately document process results and equipment downtimes.
• Willingness to follow Standard Operating Procedures   (SOP) and Supervisor instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. various times during the shift.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, ascending/descending stairs and ladders.
• Previous forklift or power pallet hack certification is a nice to have.
• ** Candidates must qualify onsite for forklift and or electric pallet jack certification.

Main Responsibilities:

• Skilled operation of equipment and tasks involved with each of the job areas.
• Follow all safety work practices and adhere to plant Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Operate and maintain production equipment to ensure production of a quality product in compliance with Company, Federal and State guidelines.
• Some experience with basic sanitation tasks required from production equipment. Training provided for specific pieces of equipment.
• Attention to detail in the following order Safety, Quality and Efficiency.
