Job Description:

Everyone within Nova is expected to place customer priorities at the top of their list, Sales associates are the forefront of this. They are the first face of the company when a new customer walks in the door, or the first voice that is heard when calling in. It is a Sales Associates responsibility to ensure they provide a strong, professional, and competent first impression with every one of our customers.  

Sales associates should attend special training of products/services to understand the product features, trends or styles of the products/services. Sell the organization's products/services to new or established customers typically via walk-in business. Process payment for products or service, may maintain customer preference records. Assist the customer in selecting products/services, answer questions and check for stock and availability and issue estimates, sales orders and purchase orders.

Job Responsibilities

1. Greet and receives customers in a welcoming manner

2. Answer incoming calls

3. Assess customers priorities

4. Assist customers as needed in their selection of products

5. Drive sales through engagement of customers, inquiring as to the customers' needs, and sharing of product knowledge.

6. Directs customers by escorting them to displays or in stock product

7. Collect customer information and take extensive notes within Odoo

8. Generate estimates, sales orders and invoices where appropriate

9. Process customer payments, returns, exchanges with manager approval

10. Check available supply of products and generate purchase orders

11. Alert managers of priority customers, problems, or opportunities

12. Maintain contact with customers through the entire process of their purchasing experience.

13. Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise

14. Maintain organization and cleanliness of showroom space

15. Participate in company organized events
