Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Requirements for this role include:

• Active Kentucky special education teacher license (required)
• Experience working with students in public school settings, ideally across a range of grade levels (elementary, middle, high)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learners and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Capacity to manage various caseloads with flexibility and organization

Day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

• Designing and delivering instruction tailored to each student’s unique learning needs and goals
• Creating and maintaining accurate documentation for IEPs, progress tracking, and compliance
• Working collaboratively with teams of general education teachers and specialists
• Engaging with families to support each student’s academic, social, and emotional development
• Fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture
