QA Specialist II

Our client, a leading organization is seeking a QA Specialist II to join their team. As a QA Specialist II, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting laboratory testing and quality systems. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QA Specialist II

Location: Abbott Park, IL

What's the Job?

• Perform bioanalytical quality assurance testing within the Starlims and SAP systems.
• Own and approve testing events, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain product and testing inventory, supporting CAPA investigations as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and management to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to GMPs and GLPs in the laboratory environment.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in a science or closely related discipline with 3-4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with bioanalytical techniques such as HPLC, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, Mass Spectrometry, ELISA, and microtiter plate methods.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of manufacturing/testing of diagnostic products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with minimal supervision.
