About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief People Officer (CPO) to play a pivotal role in enhancing the business's overall value through the strategic management of human capital. The CPO will be responsible for a wide range of processes, including goal setting, talent selection, succession planning, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and ensuring legal compliance. This executive will work closely with the CEO and the executive team to develop and execute HR strategies that align with and support the company's objectives. Proactive leadership in the development and implementation of HR policies and programs is essential, as is the ability to maintain awareness of market trends and competitor practices to attract and retain high-performing individuals. Applicants for the CPO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive HR leadership experience, with a strong background in employee relations, HR administration, and compensation and benefits oversight. The role requires a deep understanding of HR compliance and employment practices at both local and federal levels, as well as experience in talent strategy development and organizational programs. The ideal candidate will have the ability to influence decision-making on complex workforce issues, be familiar with market evaluation for talent acquisition, and have experience in dynamic environments, including exposure to mergers and acquisitions. Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills are a must, as is the ability to lead a team and provide guidance to senior management on all HR matters.
