A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a long-term contract opportunity with a national healthcare/pharmacy organization . This is a data-entry-focused pharmacy tech role with onsite training (2–3 months) , then a hybrid schedule .
The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacy operations by ensuring accurate prescription processing and data entry, helping maintain timely and compliant medication fulfillment.
Position Details
- Location: Fort Worth, TX 76177 (Park Vista Blvd area)
- Pay: $22-28/hour (W2)
- Openings: 5
- Schedule (after training): Monday–Friday 10:00 AM–7:00 PM CT , with occasional Saturdays 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT
- Training (onsite):
- Week 1: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT
- Week 2: Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–6:00 PM CT
- Work Model: Onsite for 2–3 months , then Hybrid (2 days onsite / 3 days remote)
- Contract Length: Through 12/31/2026 , with potential conversion to full-time
Responsibilities
- Enter prescription information accurately and efficiently (high-volume data entry)
- Prepare and package medications (count, pour, weigh, label)
- Fill/refill prescriptions per prescriber orders and internal procedures
- Process insurance claims and assist with issue resolution
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Assist with inventory support and general workflow organization
- Provide professional customer service and communication as needed
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
- Active registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP)
- Current PTCB or NHA CPhT certification in good standing
- At least 2 years of pharmacy technician data entry experience
- Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance
- Must live within a reasonable driving distance to Fort Worth, TX 76177(required for onsite training and hybrid onsite days)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a retail or healthcare pharmacy environment
- Comfort using basic computer applications (ex: Microsoft Office
