X-Ray Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join our Radiology team. This position involves performing various imaging studies, including fluoroscopy, general X-ray, C-arm, and portable imaging, in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Utilize advanced imaging equipment and technology.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.

Work Schedule

This position requires rotating shifts of 12 hours, specifically night shifts. Weekend work is mandatory. Flexibility in scheduling with three 12-hour shifts one week and four 12-hour shifts the next week is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
• Certification in ARRT (R) and BLS (AHA) is required.
• Proficiency in fluoroscopy and portable X-ray procedures.
• Familiarity with EMR and PACS systems, specifically EPIC and Fuji Synaps.

Department Information

The Radiology department features four X-ray scanners and handles a variety of imaging studies for emergency department, outpatient, and inpatient services. The department does not require staff to float to other areas, and there are no in-house requirements for IV starts.

Orientation and Training

Clinical orientation will be provided, and all clinicians must be present in the state for the week of orientation, which includes remote modules on the first day.

Uniform Requirements

Professional scrubs in any color are required, but scrubs will not be provided by the facility.
