Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Nights

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a General Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Step-Down) setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with facility protocols
• Maintain active ACLS and BLS certifications from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI) throughout the assignment
• Complete all required learning modules prior to the start of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions or hits on record
• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
• Active ACLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
• PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
• Must not be a current Arizona resident — Arizona residents are not eligible for assignments at Arizona facilities

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Flexibility with facility locations, shifts, and departments is advantageous
• Experience in acute care hospital environments with high patient acuity
