Audiologist – Provides a comprehensive array of professional services related to the identification, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of persons with auditory and balance disorders and the disabilities associated with them. Audiologists evaluate patients using a range of tools, offer patient education and counseling, and provide non‑medical management of auditory, vestibular, and neural system disorders. Practice Specifics Diagnostic testing: audiological, vestibular, and implant assessments; immittance, otoacoustic emissions, evoked potentials. Rehabilitative services: implant programming; hearing instrument recommendations, selection, and fittings; aural rehabilitation and treatment for Benign Paroxysmal Positioning Vertigo. Responsibilities Work independently and collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver direct patient care to outpatients and inpatients. Requirements • AuD or PhD in Audiology, or an audiologist practicing with a master’s degree in audiology before August2007. • Eligible for licensure as an Audiologist in Wisconsin and Minnesota. • Current licensure as an Audiologist in Minnesota and/or Wisconsin. Location 150miles north of Minneapolis, MN – Duluth Clinic, 3rd Street.
