Step into a rewarding, part-time contract opportunity providing vital speech and language support to young learners. This role runs for the full upcoming school year, from late August through early June, and is an excellent match for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) holding their CCC. You’ll work with children in PreK through 2nd grade, focusing on a range of needs including Speech-Language Impairment (SLI), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and articulation challenges.

Expect a collaborative setting where many of the service hours are supported by an SLPA, allowing you to focus on more specialized needs, including AAC device integration for several students. Additional responsibilities include evaluation and testing as new referrals come in.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active SLP-CCC credential
• Experience working in schools, especially with early childhood or elementary populations
• Strong skills supporting students with SLI, ASD, and articulation disorders
• Familiarity or experience with AAC devices and willingness to participate in ongoing AAC training
• Ability to collaborate effectively with support staff and contribute to a multidisciplinary team
• Comfortable handling assessments and developing IEP goals for referred students

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver part-time speech and language services (14–21 hours per week) to a diverse caseload
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapy in both individual and small-group settings
• Coordinate with the SLPA and participate in team meetings
• Oversee assessments and support eligibility determination for new student referrals
• Communicate student progress with educators, caregivers, and IEP teams
• Engage in professional development and training related to AAC and current best practices
