Sr Maintenance Technician / Electrician - Nights

Amgen seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician/Electrician to operate and maintain electrical systems at its Rhode Island manufacturing facility, working rotating 12-hour overnight shifts with shift differential pay.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain electrical power generation, distribution, and backup power systems
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical equipment and complex systems
- Support operation and maintenance of building fire alarm systems
- Execute scheduled and corrective maintenance activities across the facility
- Complete work order documentation and communicate status to operators and stakeholders
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED plus 2 years electrical systems/maintenance work experience
- Associate degree plus 6 months electrical systems/maintenance work experience
- Rhode Island Journeyperson Electrician B License or Maintenance M License preferred
- 5+ years industrial electrical and utilities systems experience
- Experience with industrial power generation and distribution systems operation
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and P&ID diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting skills and independent work capability
