Executive Recruiter (Finance & Accounting)

Executive Recruiter - Finance & Accounting LHH | Edison, NJ (Hybrid) LHH is seeking an Executive Recruiter to join our Finance & Accounting Practice, supporting clients throughout Central New Jersey. This hybrid role combines full-cycle recruiting, business development, and client relationship management, specializing in direct hire placements for accounting and finance professionals ranging from senior accountants to executive leadership. We partner with organizations to identify top talent and connect high-caliber professionals with opportunities that drive business success. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment for accounting and finance positions. Partner with clients to understand hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive candidates. Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and assessments. Negotiate placement terms and manage offer processes. Develop new client relationships and grow existing accounts. Stay current on finance, accounting, and labor market trends. Maintain candidate and client activity within recruiting systems. Conduct client meetings and site visits to understand culture and business objectives. Ensure compliance with company policies and hiring practices. Mentor and support junior team members as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of recruiting, staffing, sales, business development, or relevant finance/accounting industry experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build lasting client and candidate relationships. Results-driven with a competitive and entrepreneurial mindset. Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with ATS platforms, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office. Understanding of recruiting metrics, KPIs, and talent market trends.
