As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver in Saint Paul Park, MN , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to all persons on site by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations in accordance with site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout industrial grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and/or assigned buildings to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support security-related operations within a chemical and petrochemical location by maintaining a visible presence, communicating clearly with site contacts, and following post orders during routine and elevated conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
