Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour Shift (19:00 - 07:00) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The selected candidate will float between units as required and provide floor care, emergency room support, code response, and rapid response as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
• Administer aerosol therapies, including setup for masks and tracheostomies.
• Perform the interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) and monitor ventilatory support.
• Assist in managing patients in a variety of clinical settings, including the emergency department and critical care units.
• Respond to codes and participate in rapid response situations when needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Washington State RRT license.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care or acute care setting is preferred.
• Trauma Level I or II experience is preferred.
• Experience with pediatric populations is a plus.
