- Provide administrative support to the nursing staff, including answering phones, transferring calls, and relaying messages
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, including patient charts and medical records
- Perform various clinical and non-clinical tasks as assigned by the nursing staff, including scheduling, filing, and data entry
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control standards and policies
- Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals in a professional and respectful manner
- Previous experience as a Unit Secretary preferred
- Long term care experience preferred
- 1-3 months previous working experience, customer service
- Legible penmanship
- Knowledge of medical symbols, abbreviations, and terminology
- Multi-line telephone operation
- PCC Point Click Care experience
- Fax, email capabilities
- Answering phones, transfer calls, relay messages
