Position Qualifications:


- Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of California.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
- Current BLS Certification.
- In-depth understanding of federal, state, and local laws and guidelines governing retail pharmacy.
- Commitment to ongoing education and skill enhancement.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively with peers at all levels.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

- Uphold procedures for quality assurance and secure management of controlled substances.
- Enter necessary data to maintain pharmacy files and inventory efficiently.
- Oversee interns and support staff, ensuring adherence to pharmacist ratios.
- Address third-party prescription issues swiftly and accurately.
- Report any prescription errors immediately and follow protocols for medication incidents.
- Be proactive in loss prevention to minimize profit loss.
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals to better serve customers.
- Stay informed about new regulations, pharmacy programs, and advancements through continued education.
- Handle challenging customer interactions with empathy and professionalism.
- Optimize sales while managing expenses effectively within the retail pharmacy.
- Ensure pharmacy policies are current and consistently applied.
