Pathways / PEP Unit Float PositionRegistered Nurse – Psychiatric Emergency Program (PEP)Psychiatric Emergency Program (PEP) is a 6-bed emergency behavioral crisis unit located within the ED. Elliot Behavioral Health Services is staffed by a team of mental health professionals who tailor both evaluation and treatment services to each individual patient. Our state-of-the-art units provide a wide array of equipment and patient acuity depending on a nurse's professional interests, certifications, and experience level.The Registered Nurse on PEP delivers care for patients with acute and chronic psychiatric disorders. This includes de-escalation and crisis management under the supervision of providers. Also, creates a therapeutic and caring environment for patient and families.
