Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our in-center dialysis team. The ideal candidate will have prior hemodialysis experience and a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care for individuals with chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal disease (ESRD). As an In-Center Dialysis RN, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering safe, effective dialysis treatments while monitoring patient progress, educating patients and families, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after dialysis treatments. Administer and monitor hemodialysis treatments according to physician orders and established protocols. Assess vascular access sites and ensure proper function and infection prevention measures. Monitor patient vital signs, laboratory results, and treatment responses. Administer medications as prescribed. Recognize and respond appropriately to dialysis-related complications and emergencies. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, diet, and fluid management. Accurately document patient care and treatment outcomes in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with nephrologists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, social workers, and dialysis technicians to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain compliance with CMS, state, federal, and facility regulations. Qualifications Required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of IL. Minimum 1 year of recent in-center hemodialysis experience. Current BLS certification. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and patient education abilities. Preferred ACLS certification. Experience with ESRD patient management. Knowledge of dialysis quality measures and regulatory standards.
