Inventory Clerk – Full Time $17–$22/hour | Weekly Pay | Great Benefits | Full-Time Opportunity Express Employment Professionals – Watseka, IL is partnering with a leading metal manufacturing company to hire a Full-Time Inventory Clerk . If you’re organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be the perfect fit! What You’ll Do Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and quality. Review purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and product specifications. Use basic measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and band cutters. Verify incoming materials and accurately enter inventory information into the company’s system. Deliver materials and parts to the appropriate departments. Work with Production and Planning teams to ensure parts are delivered on time. Organize and maintain storage locations for maximum efficiency and space utilization. Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages, surpluses, and discrepancies. Enter inventory receipts, shipments, and adjustments accurately. Perform routine and spot inventory audits. Work with Purchasing and department managers to reorder materials as needed. Maintain accurate inventory records and help improve overall inventory accuracy. Communicate shipment delays, inventory issues, and corrective action plans to the appropriate teams. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, labeled, and safe. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards. Perform other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. Previous inventory, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience is a plus. Comfortable using inventory software and performing data entry. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to safely lift and move materials as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach. Regularly lift and move items weighing 10–50 lbs. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move items weighing 75+ lbs. Ability to use hands for handling, measuring, and operating tools. Ability to see clearly, including depth perception and color recognition.
