7th Grade Math Teacher

Starting Date: Immediately 7th Grade Math Teacher Winnsboro ISD, Winnsboro Junior High School, Winnsboro, Texas. Primary Purpose Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Qualifications Education / Certification: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Education / Certification: Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI). Education / Certification: Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned. Physical Education Teachers (if applicable): Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or a similar nationally recognized association (must be maintained while holding the position). Special Knowledge / Skills: Knowledge of core academic subject assigned. Special Knowledge / Skills: Knowledge of curriculum and instruction. Special Knowledge / Skills: Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior. Special Knowledge / Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
