Staff Visual Designer, Design Systems and Ecosystem Craft

Establish, advocate, and drive the multi-year evolution of the Material Design system and delivery efforts across all Android surfaces.Elevate practices, solutions, and visual/graphical effects by integrating new technologies and methodologies. Remain deeply versed in engineering needs and actively collaborate to bridge technical feasibility constraints with creative execution.Prepare, orchestrate, and manage executive-level storytelling and narratives for design systems, strategy, and creative direction.Demonstrate deep AI savviness by proactively leveraging emerging AI technologies, tools, and workflows to expand creative capabilities, streamline design execution, and scale output.Craft effective, scalable design guidance and principles that seamlessly support implementation, standardizations, and quality delivery across first-party (1P) and OEM partners.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in product design or UX.Experience with design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe).Experience designing visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color.A design portfolio showcasing graphic design work.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 12 years of experience in product design or UX. 5 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.Experience with design systems, storytelling and typography.
