Position Summary: Operate production machinery. Must be experienced operating a variety of CNC fabrication equipment. Must be able to read drawings, tape measure, understand decimals, and perform complex calculations. Experience with G‑Code and Python machine a plus. Inspects and documents product compliance. Handle materials. Structural fabrication experience a plus. Qualifications: Working knowledge of equipment capacities. Maintains accurate time records. Works closely with other fabricators and laborers to improve their skills. Maintains equipment. Works with shop foreman to ensure production goals are met. Communicates status of orders to the shop superintendent. Performs other assignments as directed by shop superintendent. Minimum Physical Requirements: Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas. Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations. Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch. Work in all types of weather. Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools. Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
