Mobile Phlebotomist, PRN Requisition Number: 41159 Location: Sacramento, California Job Overview We are currently seeking Health Screeners to join our team in Sacramento, CA. eHealthScreenings , a Premise Health Company, specializes in national biometric screenings and we have exciting opportunities for Mobile Phlebotomists and Health Screeners. These positions are as‑needed opportunities that offer flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. We send you out to local companies within your area to perform health screenings for the employees of the companies. What We Offer Competitive compensation Flexible schedule, event‑based employment (must have M‑F, morning availability) Mileage reimbursement Fast‑paced, team environment Essential Job Functions Perform and record biometric testing results including height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI. Conduct blood testing including fingerstick and/or venipuncture blood draws in a fast‑paced environment. Prepare specimens for storage or additional processing. Set up and break down portable blood draw/biometric stations. Transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.). Maintain logs and records for all laboratory transactions in accordance with department and regulatory requirements. Have morning availability (Monday‑Friday) for event‑based employment. Perform other duties as assigned. Education Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required. Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR: Certificate/Diploma and transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands‑on externship completed. Over 100 successful fingersticks within the last year or a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture draws within the last 6 months. Active state‑specific Phlebotomy certification is required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA, WA, and LA. Experience 1 year of Health Screening or Phlebotomy experience preferred. Knowledge and Skills Outstanding customer service skills. Punctual, responsible, and able to work with limited supervision. Professional demeanor and appearance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Proof of professional credentialing. Availability for a PRN, event‑driven position. Pass a full background check. Reliable transportation. Computer/internet savvy. Knowledge and skills necessary to collect blood samples from patients. Work independently in a safe and appropriate manner in accordance with safety and organizational policies and procedures. Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred. Benefits Competitive pay of $28.00 – $35.00 per hour.
