At the Julius, the resident experience begins the moment someone walks through the door. Rose Associates is seeking a polished, service-oriented Concierge to help create a welcoming, seamless, and elevated living experience at this luxury residential community in Stamford, Connecticut.

This is an opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional service, anticipates residents’ needs, and understands the importance of creating a positive first impression. From welcoming guests to coordinating deliveries and assisting residents with everyday requests, you’ll play an essential role in making the Julius feel like home.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome residents, guests, and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and a service-first attitude.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for resident inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring timely and courteous follow-up.
• Provide information about community amenities, local services, dining, entertainment, and events.
• Help create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the quality and character of the community.
• Receive and organize incoming packages and deliveries.
• Notify residents promptly when packages arrive and coordinate convenient pickup or delivery arrangements.
• Maintain an organized and efficient package-handling process.
• Monitor building entrances and follow established access control procedures to help maintain a safe environment.
• Communicate important messages and information to residents as needed.
• Coordinate with property management, building staff, vendors, and other service providers to address building-related matters.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and established company policies.
• Maintain a polished, courteous, and professional demeanor in all resident and guest interactions.
• Stay informed about local events and services to provide helpful, accurate recommendations.
• Assist with additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and the overall resident experience.

What You Bring

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with a genuine commitment to hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with residents, guests, colleagues, vendors, and visitors.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computers and software, including Microsoft Office, Yardi, and property management applications.
• Familiarity with basic security procedures; an active security guard license is a plus.
• A dependable, team-oriented approach and the ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced residential environment.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Work Environment & Essential Job Requirements

• On-Site Presence: This is an on-site position requiring movement throughout the building and regular interaction with residents, staff, vendors, and visitors.
• Physical Requirements: Essential duties may include ascending and descending stairs, organizing and moving packages weighing more than 50 pounds, and positioning oneself in confined spaces as needed.
• Residential Environment: The position requires working in varying environmental conditions and in residential settings where domestic pets, including dogs and cats, may be present for extended periods in common areas, lobbies, building offices, amenity spaces, and occupied apartments while carrying out job responsibilities.
• Flexibility: Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support building operations and resident services.

Compensation & Benefits

$25 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Work Environment & Essential Job Requirements

This is an on-site position requiring regular movement throughout the property, including areas where domestic pets may be present. Availability for after-hours emergencies and occasional weekends is required. The ability to perform essential duties in these environments, with reasonable accommodation where applicable, is required.
