Preferred Qualifications Utilize managed care processes to ensure cost-effective and efficient utilization of lab, radiology, and extended service providers, including specialists, hospitals, skilled nursing providers, and other ancillary services.Complete timely and comprehensive medical documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.Abstract medical documentation for hierarchical condition category (HCC) coding, contributing to accurate and comprehensive patient profiles.These responsibilities highlight the importance of efficient resource utilization and accurate medical documentation, which are essential for providing high-quality care and maintaining compliance with industry standards.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and maintain relationships with various health plansBilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency Requirements Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)Board certification or eligibility in Family Practice or Internal MedicineCurrent, unrestricted Florida Medical LicenseValid DEAThis position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor's diagnosis of diseaseFull COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements.
