ICU Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit. Below are the details regarding the role, requirements, and working conditions.Job DetailsShift: Nights (6 PM - 6 AM)Shift Length: 12 hoursGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekWeekend Requirement: Every other weekendHolidays: Rotate with permanent staffUnit InformationUnit Type: ICU (Intensive Care Unit)Bed Capacity: 11 private roomsNurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 1:2Electronic Medical Records: CernerCommon Diagnoses/Patient Types: Open heart surgery, general surgery, SWAN catheters, ventilated patients, chest tubes, arterial lines, CRRT, Impella devices, STEMIs, and strokesQualificationsExperience: Minimum of 2 years in a critical care setting required; travel experience preferred.Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSSTechnical Skills: Proficiency in management of chest tubes, arterial lines, and SWAN catheters required.Additional InformationSupport Staff: Charge nurse available (will take a small patient load), no nurse aides on the unit.Floating: May float to Telemetry (1:4) or Medical-Surgical units (1:5).Orientation: Floor-specific orientation will consist of 2 shifts.Respiratory Therapy: Available 24/7.Pharmacy: Limited availability; night shift nurses may need to mix medications.If you are a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse ready to make a difference in patient care, we encourage you to apply and be part of our healthcare team.Client Details State CA
