Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive healthcare services, including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. This role emphasizes patient education and preventive care to promote overall health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including health histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, conditions, and injuries.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
• Provide patient education and counseling on preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and treatment adherence.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using [EMR/EHR system name].

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Delaware and Maryland.
• Certification as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (e.g., AANP, ANCC).
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in primary care or a related field preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
