Nurse Manager Emergency RoomOur client, a leading health system in Garden City, KS, is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Emergency Room. This role is essential in managing clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery in the Emergency Department, which includes 14 beds and a Fast Track area.ResponsibilitiesManage clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery in the Emergency Room.Oversee human, fiscal, material, support, and systems resources.Focus on daily operations to achieve and maintain departmental goals.Promote a positive work environment by being visible and available to staff and customers.Support associate development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.Requirements3 years of RN experience, required.1 year of clinical leadership experience, required.High School GED required.A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN), required.Current RN License to practice in the state of employment, required.BLS through the American Heart Association.Must sit for appropriate board certification within six months of hire or transfer into the role.Clinical and/or Leadership certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.ScheduleFull TimeWeekly Schedule: 8am-5pm with varied hours for the manager role.Shift: DayCompensation$41.50 - $72.11/hourBenefitsMedical, prescription drug, dental, and vision plans.Life insurance.Paid time off (minimum of 14 paid time off days, including holidays annually).Tuition reimbursement.Retirement plan benefits including 401(k) and 403(b).
