Job Title: Invoicer
Pay: $20-23
Position Summary:
The Invoicer is responsible for accurately creating, reviewing, and processing invoices for customers. This role ensures billing information is correct, maintains financial records, and works closely with customers and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Create and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Verify pricing, quantities, and billing information before issuing invoices.
- Maintain organized invoice and customer account records.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and billing issues.
- Communicate with customers regarding invoices, payments, and account questions.
- Work closely with sales, operations, and accounting teams to ensure accurate billing.
- Process credits, adjustments, and corrections as needed.
- Assist with accounts receivable activities and payment tracking.
- Prepare billing reports and maintain documentation for audits.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding invoicing and recordkeeping.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous invoicing, billing, accounting, or administrative experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with ERP, accounting, or billing software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and telephone.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
