Radiology Technologist - Clinic

Location: Avera Orthopedics Plaza 4 (STE 300) Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Day Shift (United States of America) Pay Range: The pay range for this position is listed below. Work where you matter. A Brief Overview Performs radiologic examinations to allow accurate interpretation for diagnosis. Completes all appropriate paperwork. What you will do * Performs various radiology procedures that produce examinations of premium diagnostic quality according to policy and procedure on a daily basis. * Performs all aspects of patient care during the performance of radiology procedures.

• Maintains inventory and stock supplies as necessary.
• Performs all routine maintenance and cleaning according to procedure.

Performs equipment repair when necessary. * Assumes responsibility for any department to physician communication as needed. * Performs all quality control and quality assurance procedures for radiology and as outlined by the state of operation, FDA, and JCAHO. * Pushes and/or requests CD of images to be sent to outside facilities for comparison. Assures that reports are sent to outside providers who request images done by the facility. * Assists with processing of reports and images and other necessary office maintenance duties. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: * Associate's or certificate of completion from an accredited School of Radiology * ARRT Certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 60 Days Minimum Age Requirements 18 Expectations and Standards * Commitment to the daily application of Avera’s mission, vision, core values, and social principles to serve patients, their families, and our community.
