This role offers a balance of branch-based and field-based respiratory care while supporting patients transitioning from hospital to home.Key HighlightsHours: 8:30 AM–5:00 PMWork Arrangement: On-site; 85% office, 15% fieldDriving Territory: Up to 1 hour from branchSalary Range$27.00–$35.00 per hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors including experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.On-Call TransparencyRotating on-call schedule shared with other Respiratory TherapistsWhat You'll DoConduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow upsEducate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenanceAssess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriatelyRespond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needsCollaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teamsMaintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptopSet up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilationInspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating conditionPerform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signsPerforms other duties as requiredWhat We Look ForRegistered Respiratory Therapist with an active MO RT license. IL RT License is a plus or willingness to obtain.Open to candidates with varying experience levels; 1+ year preferredAbility to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 – 50 lbs.Valid driver's licenseComfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentationEducationGraduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy programCertificates, licenses, registrations or professional designationsHold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapyHold a current CPR CertificationHold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practiceIf you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.Teammate BenefitsAs an Accendra Health employee, you have choices to fit your life.
