Banking & Finance Associate (1-4 PQE)

A top-tier US law firm is seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Banking & Finance Associate to join its highly regarded New York office. The role offers exposure to sophisticated domestic and cross-border financing transactions, advising premier clients including global financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and corporates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on a wide range of leveraged finance , acquisition finance , syndicated lending , and asset-based lending transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate key documentation including credit agreements, intercreditor agreements, security documents, and commitment papers.
• Collaborate with cross-practice teams, including private equity and restructuring, on complex deals.
• Support clients through all phases of the deal process, from term sheet to closing.

Candidate Profile:

• 1-4 years of banking & finance experience from a leading US or international law firm.
• Strong understanding of US and cross-border financing structures.
• JD from a top law school and admitted to the New York Bar .
• Excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• A team player with strong communication skills and commercial awareness.
